The little French bistro you always wished was just around the corner is here. Maison Bleue is the brainchild of Sandy and John Vizzone, owners of The Hugh B&B, along with partner Executive Chef Anthony Depasquale.

Together, they have created a stylish—and delicious—interpretation of a classic French bistro. Like The Hugh, Maison Bleue is a perfect concoction of flair, verve, and intimacy.

We will also be announcing a New Year's Eve Special Menu very soon!

    Delicious food, service and atmosphere. Menu options for side dishes and salads were limited to chefs offerings for the evening and the overall price seemed a bit high. Very overall lovely dining experience and I recommend as one of the best dinners we’ve ever had in Cape May.

    This is a great restaurant. The ambience has a post modern jet age meets 21st century chic vibe. Confident, but kind. My date and I are sharers, and love to taste from the different courses, e.g. salad, appetizer, entrée.... And that's how we enjoyed a fantastic meal. The greens were bright, crispy and tasty with a very light balsamic style dressing. We chose the escargots for our appetizer course - and what brilliant idea that turned out to be. A generous portion served in an open square pastry shell, the escargot were roughly chopped and served w near equal sized pieces of mushroom in some kind of beurre blanc sauce that was, well simply exquisite and irresistible. We could have stopped there and left walking on air. Main entrée was a surf and turf special of scallops and beef filet tenderloin drizzled in a hollandaise that was also exquisite in its own right. Both proteins were absolutely, perfectly cooked. Our server Anna was both a friend and tour guide, polite, engaging and a complete professional. It was a super fun, memorable meal. I don't know when but I look forward to "next time"!

    Charming and eclectic atmosphere ! Elegantly presented dining room and sunroom ! After being seated in the sunroom , arriving 20 minutes early at 455 for a 515 dinner , we had to request the Early Bird menu ! Somewhat confusing ! My meal was outstanding , the Salmon entree , ordering from the early bird menus , my husbands entree was not as impressive ! Cordon Bleu was a large chicken breast with ham and cheese simply laid on the flat top ! Not rolled or cheese placed inside ! It wasn’t as expected , although he said the flavor was still tasty ! The kitchen was to the left of our table with just a curtain partially pulled , the distraction of hearing the kitchen staff was also confusing and a distraction from a fine dining experience ! The waitress was very gracious and attentive , and we took our desserts home as our meal was generous ! Lovely evening byob !

    Best appetizers (carrot ginger bisque, croque madame) we’ve had in a long time. Food and service were superb. Wish we didn’t live so far away, but would love to return.

    Where do I start, as we walked in to beautiful decor, pleasantly greeted by the hostess,seated and then we met our fantastic bubbly server. She explained the menu and specials of the night, since it was our first time she answered any questions. Our salads were delicious and beautifully prepared, the entrees were fabulous, and then the desserts that we haven’t stopped talking about. We will be back and recommend highly.

    Yet another stellar dining experience at Maison. We only wish it was open more nights!! The chicken liver pate is consistently terrific as has been the entree. This time we had the flounder and the chicken, both of which we will have again. Dottie is fantastic running a very friendly, competent and professional front of the house. We dine here at least twice a month as year-around residents and highly recommend Maison Bleu.

    The food as always was fabulous. We usually do not dine that early but wanted to take advantage of the price fix menu! They added the moules in herb cream sauce with a baguette for one of the appetizers Best I have ever ever had- and have had them in Paris!! Every dish was exceptional. I honestly cannot say enough good things about these consistently wonderful restaurant. Don’t miss out on this culinary experience!
