Maiella, a casually elegant restaurant located in the picturesque waterfront section of Long Island City, serves authentic Italian dishes with a modern flare and the freshest ingredients. Maiella sits at the base of the iconic Pepsi sign in Gantry State Park, and features spectacular city views. Designed by a leading New York City Architecture firm, Bluarch, the rustic space features seating for up to 180 guests inside and almost 100 guests in the outdoor terrace. The terrace faces Manhattan and Gantry State Park with views of the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, and the 80 foot tall Pepsi Sign. The inside of the restaurant was gorgeous and no matter what we ordered it was delicious. We had so much fun and the service was very good, I would definitely return.

This is not my first time, I always return to this restaurant and they never disappoint. The food is so good and the staff is excellent. The Sunday brunch is very well priced and the ambience is always very pleasant

Better quality in years past. The veal parm for 2 was overpriced and overcooked. Veal is not supposed to be tough. Very disappointing.

They must’ve changed their chef - I come here for chicken parm mainly because it’s always been simply the best. Last night the chicken parm was SO horrible.

Maiella made our New Year’s Eve celebration truly special! The ambiance was festive and elegant, setting the perfect tone for the evening. The food was exceptional; every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented, making the night feel extra memorable. The staff, especially our server, Jose, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and made us feel warmly welcomed. The DJ played a great selection of music. It was a fantastic way to ring in the new year, and I can’t wait to return for another amazing dining experience!

Horrible experience! Overrated place with very poor customer service. I would definitely not recommend it! Food was bland except for the lobster pasta which was excellent. Value is poor for what you’d pay for.
