    1. We waited about 30 min past our reservation to be sat, they did offer us sparking wine while we waited, but still a little irritating when you've made a reservation weeks in advance. 2. When we finally were sat, we ordered drinks that came to the table relatively quickly, but when we came to order food 3 of the items we wanted were no longer available at 8pm, which was kind of a bummer. 3. We ordered what felt like an ample amount of starters (4), entrees (3 "for all" size) and sides (3) for the table, when they came the portion size was so small it was laughable. And at no point did the waitress alert us to this. At one point someone referenced Oliver Twist, It felt so meager. And the price would have led you to believe we would have gotten a bit more. I realize we're eating on South Congress and the prices reflect that rent payment, but it was pretty sad. 4. However, the taste was great. The steaks were beautifully cooked, the fish was seasoned perfectly the sides were delicious, everything tasted wonderful. I just felt like I need a little more to feel satisfied. At the end of it, we spent $100/person and got home feeling peckish. I would return, maybe for a special meal or for a corporate dinner on the corporate card.

Average food for a restaurant recognized on Austin’s inaugural Michelin list. The “world famous” crab claws were floating in what seemed like the blandest lake of butter. The prime rib was cold, and nothing special. I’ve had better cheesecake at no name restaurants at a quarter of the price. Worst, the service was late, the cheesecake arrived 15 min and 2 reminders after being ordered. Finally, the coup de grace was discovering the next morning that the server had charged me twice on my credit card. Now I have to waste my time disputing the transaction with my bank. A terrible experience all in all.

This place just isn’t good no matter what you order. The space is neat and the giant windows allow tons of ambience but the food is just SUCH a let down. The brunch is basically breakfast and quite mediocre. I just don’t get it.

Steaks are strictly ok. I ordered a NY strip which was Ok. Tartar was over done with mixing. Food is strictly ok and service was friendly. I would not go back.

I wish this place were better. It needs a bit of an overhaul. Please hire a consultant to come in and assess the menu, the service, the execution of the meals. The neighborhood would love to support more. It’s a prime location and it’s not busy. Pls consider why and revive the place

Food was sub-par but service was good. We started with the queso which first came to the table cold. After sending it back we got a hot one but even hot, it was grainy and flavorless. We got burgers for our main which were good but way too messy. Overall the food was just very disappointing seeing as this is a Michelin recommended restaurant. Would not return.

Our grilled half chicken and steak frites were both excellent and the side of green beans was the best that we have ever had.
