The Magnolia Restaurant is a new addition to the Sudbury House Hotel in 2015. Overlooking the beautiful gardens, the restaurant boasts a feature open kitchen with a wood burning stove from which freshly prepared pizzas, burgers and grills, prepared and served in front of your very eyes. In addition to these delicious dishes our extensive menu will offer provides contemporary dishes made using top quality produce, sourced where possible from local suppliers. light .

The restaurant also offers al fresco dining in the peaceful and tranquil gardens, or to simply relax with your pre dinner drinks, a sparkling glass of wine, a cool beer or a mellow red.

Our lounge offers an relaxed and informal area to enjoy our extensive drinks array of wines, ciders, spirits and beers with some delicious local produce to try and enjoy.

Great atmosphere, gluten free pizza was excellent, burger great! Priced a little too high maybe? Service was very good. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic Sunday dinner, would normally have a pudding, but to full. Everything was cooked to a very high standard. Will be eaten there again.

We enjoyed our return trip to your restaurant A shame that so few people are aware of this little gem as a full restaurant would create a warmer atmosphere. We look forward to our next trip and will let others know where to get a great lunch at a very reasonable price Thank you again Paöla Hewins

The staff were very attentive and service was very prompt. I had the fish and chips which were the best that I have had at Sudbury House. My friend had the steak, which although was cooked a little more than the requested rare, was excellent and the pink peppercorn sauce was very delicious. Sadly we were too full to have a dessert. which was a shame because the choice was very tempting, next time hopefully! I live very locally and value having such a lovely place to eat out within walking distance of home.

Slightly lack-lustre but surprisingly comprehensive wine list and very pleasant staff. I'm sure that there is more atmosphere in the dining room during the day but it doesn't really lend itself to an evening.

Lovely food with a reasonable balance of meat and vegetables quite rare these days. The food was also beautifully presented. The staff were efficient and competent but at the same time pleasant friendly and cheerful especially the young waitresses who served us.
