A group of friends and I dined last night at the Magic Lamp Inn and I must say it lives up to its name because it was truly magical. The ambiance was so wonderful with the beautiful Christmas decorations, the gorgeous tiffany and stained-glass lamps, the fireplaces, the wonderful music and everything. It was like stepping back in time to the days of leather booths, nostalgic decor and wonderful food. The Filet Mignon melted in my mouth and the Chilean Sea Bass was out of this world! Further to the gorgeous restaurant there is a large garden area with Roman statues and lovely trees and sculptures...I felt transported across the ocean to Europe. Believe me it is worth making the trek to Rancho Cucamonga for a superb dining experience. It was so magical we did not want to leave! Thank you to the wonderful staff as well for taking such good care of us and to the entertaining magician who entertained us during the evening. We will be returning soon!

The staff was so kind. We were celebrating what would have been my parents’ 55th wedding anniversary, but my father has passed. I added the note to the reservation and they sat is at the table with the best view of the fireplace, with balloons, and a desert on the house.

What a wonderful experience. From the warm greeting from the ladies at the reception desk, the great music provided, our lovely waitress and the delicious food, we were never disappointed. The restaurant’s ambiance was lovely.

This was our first visit. We were celebrating my son's birthday. We were one of the first guests as the restaurant opened on a Friday night. We were unhappy with the initial table we were given, so we asked for a booth, and the host happily obliged. The restaurant was decorated for the holidays and there was a singer. Excellent server and food. Portions were larger than expected; steaks were cooked to perfection. My son said the Baklava was the best he ever had.

The new decor is nice and the lit menus is AMAZING. The bread was mediocre and cold. Butter should be soft. My steak was medium (dry), not medium rare, and a bit grisly. Compared to the previous Magic Lamp, I'd say it's improved with a steeper price tag, but unfortunately the food wasn't spectacular...

Dining here was incredible and delightful. The ambiance was a mix of vintage Hollywood glam (days of Sinatra and Dean Martin) and quirky artsy beauty, with gorgeous stained glass windows and lamps, chandeliers and an lovely central fireplace. Add live music, great food, and stellar service = a great date place to make you feel special.

The food was absolutely horrible. Our steaks were overcooked. Sent it back received overcooked again. The Seabass was still raw in the middle the crème brûlée frozen the drinks were nine out of 10. The service was amazing.

The most amazing, submersible experience I’ve had at a restaurant. The staff treated my party wonderfully and made my birthday extra special this year. I would go back any day!♥️
