   We came for a birthday dinner on a Thursday evening. I had the short rib and he had the steak. It was delicious! We also shared the grilled Caesar salad which was outstanding. The ambience was super cozy and our waiter was helpful and attentive. We’ll be back for sure.

   Was super excited for this place. It’s cute but not worth the money. Had a terrible tasting Bloody Mary and when the lady brought my food out it has a hair on the bacon. It was clear as day I was shocked the lady didn’t notice it. Right after she sat it down I informed the lady and showed her the hair. She changed my plate and brought it back out within mins. Makes me think they didn’t even remake my food. Didn’t even comp the meal or give any discount. Highly suggest spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

   This is truly a gem of South Lake Tahoe! Maggie’s, tucked away on the 3rd floor of a beautiful micro-resort, delivers an outstanding dining experience. The ambiance is cozy and elegant, making it feel like a true hidden find. Starting with the grilled octopus, it was perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of char and tenderness. The seared sea bass was equally impressive—delicate, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The mushroom rigatoni was rich and comforting, showcasing earthy flavors that any pasta lover would appreciate. We finished with two standout desserts: the s’mores mousse, which was a playful, decadent take on a classic, and the lemon ricotta with blueberries, a refreshing and light way to end the meal. Both desserts were the perfect finish to an incredible dinner. Highly recommend Maggie’s—this is one of the best restaurants in the city and a must-visit for anyone in South Lake Tahoe!

   The New York steak was amazing! A bit pricey, but worth the money. The food was delicious. We would go there again!

   I think this place must have been short staffed because the wait times to get service took a very long time. I ordered the short rib Beni and it lacked flavor. I think the worst part was the fact that we were celebrating a special birthday and there was no acknowledgment of it.

   Food was outstanding and presentation was excellent. It’s a very small place so make a reservation. Service was great. Will definitely go back.

   Maggie’s was an amazing cute gem we stumbled across when we were exploring south Tahoe. We had a lovely brunch there and was impressed the with quality of the food. Parmesan truffle fries with actual real truffles?! Amazing. Will definitely try for dinner another night. Highly recommend making reservations.

   Great service and cocktails. The place has potential, but my first visit was a let down. Sorry, but it the pasta was terrible and when that’s basically the only vegetarian main, that’s a problem. My dad liked the short ribs, so maybe it’s fine if you eat meat, but not sure I’d try again unless they step it up.

   I have been to Maggie’s four times now, and every time the food, drinks, and service is superb. The staff are attentive, kind, and the ambience blends elegance with a cozy, casual atmosphere. Their custom mocktail/cocktail menu is my personal favorite, and each dish earns five stars. Every time I go, I order something different because everything they offer is that good!!

    We had a lovely night! Great food, cozy heaters and blankets provided so we could enjoy the outdoor seating, kind staff, and food prepared quickly.
