Great venue out in courtyard. Tea was very good and Mad Hatter themed. They were very supportive of gluten free / dairy feee choices. They had run out of Verve Clicquot but replaced with another champagne lower level which was fine. You can have limitless sandwiches which was great. Staff were a little overwhelmed and very busy but were friendly and responsive when asked.

Very expensive for just a basic afternoon tea - sandwiches pretty boring and dry - cakes not very inspiring/ scones dry. shame! There are better options across London

We loved it. The food and range of tea was amazing, a real treat of an experience, different from your average afternoon tea. The friendly staff also went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience. We also loved the theme, with Alice in Wonderland tea pots and plates. Highly recommend.

We arrived 15 minutes early and we're seated immediately which was nice, but the promptness was finished at that point. My wife was reading over the menu while we were waiting to be served as it was a surprise present for her birthday so she wanted to get an idea of what she was having. A waiter then came over took the menu out of her hand and said you only need to look at the tea menu even though the rest of the menu says what you get in the afternoon tea. We got given our welcome drink which was fun and tasty. Our afternoon tea arrived a little while later with our first pot of tea (for 2). We were told the tea is bottomless and so were the savouries on the bottom plate of the tea. We finished the bottom plate and the tea and asked for some more. Half an hour later we received two more slices of sandwich and a pot of tea (for one). The next time we asked it was over 45 minutes until we received anything. Trying to actually get hold of a waiter to ask for anything or remind them felt impossible because they were nowhere to be found. The cakes looked amazing but we were both left a little underwhelmed by the flavours. They all either tasted like really rich chocolate or pretty much nothing at all, which was rather disappointing. All in all it was a nice experience as it's the only Alice in wonderland themed afternoon tea I could find. But for the price I was left very disappointed. I've had better tasting afternoon teas in garden centers than this one. If this was maybe a 30 pound per person afternoon tea I could maybe accept the quality of the product. But at 65 pound per person I think it's an absolute terrible value for money experience. Before I forget you don't even get clotted cream for the scones, it's whipped double cream. And you get given enough for maybe one and a half scones, so you have to ask for more which then takes around 15 minutes to arrive at your table. All in all we were left rather disappointed by our experience.

It was a fun themed and pleasant tea but venue lacked atmosphere and the quality experience and service I’d expect from a London hotel for the price.
