   We were there for the Christmas buffet. The food was marvelous and plentiful: prime rib, salmon, pork loin, ribs, bbq chicken, assorted salads and sides, and desserts. The service was fine and the price was great. We'd like to go for a regular dining experience in addition to the holiday buffets as we also went to the Thanksgiving buffet.

   Great food and service despite it being a Chrismas morning buffet. Very busy with a line out the door but the front desk people were cheerful and on the ball. Just wish they had not gotten rid of valet parking. Was a challenge getting a parking spot.

   Being there for the first service provides for fresher food in the Christmas Buffet. The table busing was quick and efficient. I think this is also the result of being one of the first five groups seated. As far as Christmas Day Buffets go this is the best. Not sure if there are that many more. I have been coming with mixed results for over 10 years. This year was the best.

   Due to a private party, we were seated in a smaller room in the back (we were advised of this in advance and accepted this option). The room could use a little sprucing up, but it wasn’t bad. Food was overall good. Only real issue was our server who only had 3 tables yet we waited about 10 minutes before he came over (another small group was seated after us). He told us the soup option and took our orders and really didn’t say anything else. No personality whatsoever, didn’t come back to refill drinks or ask if we needed more beer or wine. After we declined dessert, we expected him to bring over our bill but I had to flag him down as we had an event to go to.

   The grilled chicken was cooked to perfection and paired nicely with a glass of Zin. The atmosphere with the huge Christmas tree in the open area was delightful. Overall, a wonderful dinner with friends for a very reasonable price. This place has never failed to please over the past forty years.

   Went for my birthday with my brother and friends. Server was excellent.. friendly, fun, informative! Loved her. Food is consistently very good. We had salmon, scallops, and 2 different kinds of chicken. Everything was well done.

   MacArthur Park is always reliably good for food and service. It is a pleasure to dine in this historical building. During the holiday season it is beautifully decorated with lights and a giant Xmas tree. We make a special effort to enjoy a holiday evening with them.

   We totally enjoyed the very comfortable table in front of the fireplace, very good food and service, and on-site parking. We'll be back.

    The meats and seafood was cooked and seasoned well. The side dishes were less impressive. Yams were over puréed and a bit soupy, the mac and cheese had too much cream and not enough cheese, the stuffing was dry, and they ran out of pumpkin pie. The other desserts were not great. I’ve always loved MacArthur Park but this was very disappointing and expensive.
