Pocha is short for Pojanmacha in Korea. The exact definition of Pojanmacha is "Tented Cart on Wheels" that serves street food with drinks. Over the years, pojanmacha has developed more into a brick and mortar style and has similar feel that of Japanese style Izakaya. It is an intimate but causal spot to share good food and drinks with friends. We focus on Asian fusion with a concentration on Korean food.

We are doing a 6 course dinner to make your evening extra special! This will be a ticketed event with only the set menu as option for dinner. We are offering 2 menus, one of which is completely vegan. Please state in your reservation how many would like to do the regular menu and how many would like the vegan. The dinner is $120 a person, (plus tax and gratuity) there will be an option to add on wine pairings the night of, or you can order from our regular drink menu.

I am a huge fan of MPocha! This time, though, I’d say there weren’t as many vegetarian options on the menu as usual. And much of the food is too spicy - go easier on the peppers.

Food was good, unfortunately we ordered a drink made with pepper infused mezcal that ended up burning out our palettes, which didn't help enjoy the food.

Our anniversary dinner at M Pocha was fabulous! we decided to get smaller plates and share everything. We split 4-5 small plates and were stuffed when we were finished! everything was delicious and the service was outstanding, with great recommendations from our server. If you're looking for a "private" table, this will not be your vibe- as the restaurant only seated maybe 30-40 people max with a lot of counter seating, but we loved it! Thanks again to the M Pocha staff for a beautiful dinner.

This is my new favorite restaurant in downtown Durham! Everyone recommended the pork buns for good reason and I’d add the broccoli to the list of “must haves” too. But everything we ordered was great!
