For matinee goers, you can enjoy a delicious touch of elegance with a handcrafted Lyrebird High Tea, before your show. $25 per person or $30 per person including a glass of bubbles. Available only for select matinee shows.

A venue to book ahead months in advance to get it. Kitchen extremely organised with fantastic choices, all food arrived quickly and well timed and prepared perfectly. Staff were attentive and welcoming. For a venue within QPAC servicing the urgency of an enjoyable meal and a deadline for the show commencement, they have this down pat. Never had a bad experience, almost like the best of the best want to be part of this establishment. Thank you Chefs.

We just had a wonderful high tea experience at Lyrebird before a performance at Qpac. The staff and food were excellent. The high tea is well worth the money. We were a party of 2 tables of 6 and everyone has said they will certainly return. Looking forward to coming back. Thank you Lyrebird.

Lovely, although we wouldn’t do the pre-booked courses next time as we were rushed through them and had an hour before our show to try to fill. We would’ve liked to stay and pay for another drink in this time, but our bill was on the table before we could ask. Felt like we were being rushed out. Otherwise food, ambiance, etc all great.

Had to get to theatre by a certain time... entrees came out fast but there seemed to be an issue in the kitchen and main meal took ages. We had to eat quickly and left our meals to catch the show. Ruined the evening.

The food has poisoned me. It’s obviously filled with chemicals or MSG. Dryness of mouth of both my partner and myself swelling of around the eyes and mouth and like needles all over my body. The kitchen needs to be investigated for the use of MSG or some other chemical. That’s probably used to preserve or enhance the flavour of the food. It’s easy for us. We just won’t ever go there again. But BE way you are poisoning people and soon later you’ll have the health department doing an investigation.
