   Amazing experience!!! We were in town for Taylor Swift and Lyla’s was the cherry on top of a perfect night. The staff was so attentive and thoughtful and the owner even spent time talking to us and making sure we had a great time. And the food was phenomenal!

   The prices are unbelievable and unacceptable for what you get. This place has potential by needs a reality check price wise. Also, the bathrooms were dirty. This is a beautiful restaurant, staff were friendly, and some of our meal items were a tasty but I can’t imagine returning unless there is a menu overhaul where value and quality are more aligned.

   The ambience was nice but I think just a bit too dark. Specifically towards the washroom where a lot of people are taking their photos & inside the washrooms. I was very excited to dine at Lyla after hearing so many good reviews, but it was a bit underwhelming. The steak was chewy and lacked flavour, the rigatoni was missing something. We did enjoy the oysters and personally for me the broccoli was good as well as the chocolate mousse and the basque cheesecake. Overall it was a nice experience and the restaurant is gorgeous but I for the value of everything not worth it. The service was great so that was nice.

   The food and drinks were amazing and our server was excellent. The manager sent over dessert on the house and was very attentive. Overall wonderful experience.

   I recently visited this new location and had a great experience! The flavors were incredibly vibrant, with each dish offering a perfect balance of spices, herbs, and freshness. From the hummus to the grilled lamb and perfectly charred vegetables, every bite was a treat for the taste buds. The restaurant offers a lovely ambiance with attention to detail, but the menu is quite overpriced for what’s served. For example, four small lamb chops for $75 feels excessive. We also ordered the lobster pasta (109$), and if a dish is advertised as containing a whole lobster, it would enhance the experience to present it table side before plating, rather than just having it mixed into the dish. Additionally, the busser kept clearing plates immediately after we finished, which made the experience feel rushed. Overall, while there’s clear effort in the presentation, the portions and service timing didn’t fully meet expectations given the price. Our waiter was not only friendly but also very knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and making us feel very welcome throughout the meal. It’s rare to find such attentive and personable service these days, and it really elevated the experience. Another downside was that my visit happened to coincide with my best friend’s birthday, and while the meal was wonderful, there was no mention or acknowledgment of the occasion. A little touch, like a birthday dessert or a simple greeting, would have made the celebration even more special. Despite this, the overall experience was memorable, and I’ll definitely be back for more.

   This was our second time at Lyla and we enjoyed every bit as much as we did the first time. The absolute outstanding feature is the sevice. The moment you are greeted you can tell the entire staff is trained to make it a perfect experience for the diners. Once again I have to say the buratta was excellent as was the fish. We loved everything we ate and looking forward to going back. Lyla is a must try!

    The food was excellent. They did mess up a pretty standard cocktail though, an Old Fashioned, and charged 34 bucks for it. They even redit but just couldn’t get it right. I think if you’re gonna charge so much for cocktails it really needs to be spot on, especially a classic cocktail. They gave us a delicious dessert for free though which I appreciated!
