   We were going to see a theatre performance in Wayne, so we wanted to have a nice dinner before it. It was very difficult to find a good restaurant in Wayne, besides it was February 14 and the best places were booked a month in advance. Lumis had great reviews, wonderful pictures of the interior, good service, everything was just perfect on site. Coming for the dinner we were really happy with the interior, atmosphere, service was the best, but the food… the food was bad. Almost all that we tried wasn’t delicious. For starters my husband had a salad, it was not good and I had a best recommend starter Ahi tuna. The fish was perfect. Fresh, perfectly cooked, but all the bottom of the plate was in wasabi, it was so spicy I couldn’t feel taste of the fish. I like wasabi, but not much, if it was on a side, for ex., it would be much better, such a great meal was ruined. As a main course my husband and our friend had also tuna. It was dry and tasteless, unfortunately. The cocktails though were good. Pasta looked nice on the other plates. I would love to come back to this place because of ambience but I don’t want to eat not tasty anymore )):

   Service drinks and food were very good. Clams oregano calamari served hot and delicious. Wine pour could be a bit more. Entrees were good. 1 filet mignon 1 halibut. Both looked excellent. 2 of us had Chicken Burrata. Was a bit tough taste was good. Espresso Martini’s Afogatto both very good.

   The tuna appetizer was Fantastic!! I had the filet mignon too. Very large portion perfectly cooked. Really good service as well!!!!

   I'm a regular at Lumi's. Only restaurant that enticed me to make them a weekly stop. Yesterday I brought 3 friends who are very critical of restaurants and all three gave Lumi's an enthusiastic thumbs up. Whether it's a seat at the bar or a small group or a catered affair. Level of excellence is outstanding.

    Excellent all the way around, service, food, ambiance, they all have it all, from host to servers. From the time you enter to the time you leave, they don't rush you, great family business.
