   This is my second time at Luminosa but we will not return. Food is average, very small serving sizes and ridicualous pricing. Service is excellent. Notebaly, $22 for the tiniest plate of carpaccio that really wasn't raw and had the texture of deli roastbeef sliced thin is over the top. Dissapointed second time.

   The food and service were great, and we enjoyed our evening at Luminosa very much. However, the noise level was sufficiently high that we had difficulty hearing what the server was saying. Indeed, we had to raise our voices to hear each other. I discussed this with the server, and he said the noise level is lower in the rear of the restaurant. Next time, we’ll ask for a table in that section.

   Delightful meal in a quaint, charming boutique hotel. Service was impeccable… Appalachian Italian cuisine with fresh, local ingredients. Excellent meal!

    The food was absolutely outstanding…not only delicious but so creative, beautifully prepared. The restaurant is extremely noisy though and it is difficult to hear your dinner guests in conversation.
