   The food and service were great, and we enjoyed our evening at Luminosa very much. However, the noise level was sufficiently high that we had difficulty hearing what the server was saying. Indeed, we had to raise our voices to hear each other. I discussed this with the server, and he said the noise level is lower in the rear of the restaurant. Next time, we’ll ask for a table in that section.

   Delightful meal in a quaint, charming boutique hotel. Service was impeccable… Appalachian Italian cuisine with fresh, local ingredients. Excellent meal!

   The food was absolutely outstanding…not only delicious but so creative, beautifully prepared. The restaurant is extremely noisy though and it is difficult to hear your dinner guests in conversation.

   Overall was a good experience. Sat at the and met a few couples seated next to me. Bartender and manager was friendly. Food was good but not outstanding. Based on social media reviews I expected to be WOW’d. I had the “little gem” which was their version of a grilled Cesar salad. For the price ($16) I was underwhelmed. The head of lettuce was tiny. The gnocchi dish was raved about on social media, which is normally one of my favorite dishes. Didn’t love the vegetables that it was served with, they were quite bitter, but the gnocchi itself was soft and melted in your mouth. Overall 7/10

   Wonderful dinner with excellent service by Kristen. We truly enjoyed the interesting menu and the food was out of this world. Best dining in Asheville! And we enjoyed the exceptional cocktails at the speakeasy before dinner too. Superior staff, drinks, food and wine all around!

    Have been to brunch twice and Thanksgiving dinner tonight. Service so warm and accommodating. Turducken pasta was superb and a fun play on words. Pork chops fabulous and trout well prepared and enormous. We got side of a vegetable gratin that was so smooth and velvety. I will get more pasta next time! Tiramisu yummy.. mocktails were yummy too.
