                                                                                                    Our friends had been several times before and had recommended we go for my birthday. We arrived just after opening. Very nice decor. It was not very busy so it was quaint. Our server took one of our friends' drink order and left. She returned a little while later and then took everyone else's order. No one wanted any appetisers so we order our meals. Our meals came and the food was great. I had the special ravioli and my wife had the sausage ravioli. Our friends had the grouper. Very nice size portions. We had put in for another round when the food dropped. We never saw our server after that. When we were done with our meal, my wife flagged down we believe was the manager. We told him we ordered drinks that never came and now that we were finished with our meal, we no longer wanted them. After he left and greeted people at the door, he brought me my beer and said if I didn't want it, he was gonna have to dump it. Our server was pleasant in the beginning but now seemed she would rather deal with everyone else. It took forever to get the check and when we did get it, it was incorrect. It just could have been just an off night for them. Maybe even for our server. Their food was good.

                                                                                                    Food was as close to authentic Italy as we have found in Horry County and we have been to Italy. Andrea was a first class server and we loved everything we had on New Years Eve which is usually when food and service takes a back seat. Kudos to all at Luigi’s for making our first experience incredible!

                                                                                                    It is one of the restaurants I always go to when I visit Myrtle Beach. On this trip, the service from the staff was really good. However, the food was below par. Many clams in my dish had sand, which made the whole dish difficult to eat. The sauce was watery. Maybe because it was a busy night.
