   6 of us friends had a great experience at Lucky Tortoise. The food was delicious, the service was absolutely lovely, and the ambience of the restaurant nice. Most of us got the set menu, which was a great way to try so many different dishes. The vegetarian options were numerous and delicious, which we really appreciated! We'll definitely go back.

   Truly delicious food! Twas 2 for dinner and we ordered the Set Menu and Bao Buns to start us out - everything was so tasty that we then ordered another dumplings and scallion pancake. Service was brilliant, our two servers were such sweethearts and the restaurant had good buzz. Will be back!

   My friend and I did the set menus. One regular and one vegetarian. We both very much enjoyed our meal and it was the perfect amount of food. We’ll definitely be back!

   Dumpling portions were small and a bit chewy. Service was slow and patchy. Toilet seat was broken. I probably wouldn’t return here.

   My friends and I had a pleasant experience overall. The staff were lovely—friendly, attentive, and very helpful. I appreciated the variety of options available for different dietary needs, including vegetarian and vegan choices, which is always a plus. From a meat-eater’s perspective, the dumplings were the highlight—I’d rate them an 8.5 to 9/10. However, the other dishes were less impressive. The buns were unfortunately quite soggy, and the prawns were average at best. The ambience was another strong point: calm, relaxed, and not overly loud, which made for an enjoyable dining atmosphere.

    The food and service are very good. We enjoyed everything we got. It is expensive for what it is and you would get the same quality food for less elsewhere. It is in temple bar and with all the tourists I’m not surprised of the prices.
