The food was on point but the server could have been bit more attentive. We were celebrating my partners birthday and the server totally forgot to put a a candle on the dessert ordered. Although i did leave a note at my booking and double checked with server at start of the evening.

Possibly my worst ever experience at any London restaurant. I’ve worked in London for over 12 years now and been fortunate enough to visit nice restaurants frequently due to my work. My experience at Lucky Cat is possibly the worst experience I’ve ever had. We arrived 45 minutes early to enjoy a few drinks before sitting at our table. We were greeted with a free drink (tasted like soapy water). We then order a couple of beers and two whiskey sours, both the Whiskey sours were awful. We were then told to be quiet by a member of staff while sitting down having our drinks at the bar. When we were getting seated at our table, we noticed the table next to us had a DOG, yes an actually pet dog next to the table. I love dogs but i do not expect to pay premium prices in Mayfair to have a dog next to me, surely this is against hygiene rules? They then advise we can have another table which we waited 30 minutes for, when being taken to the next table it turns out another group at already at this table. After this my friends and I who choose lucky cat for our Xmas meal had enough and decided to leave. Would not recommend!

Had a table at 6pm, music was way too loud! We couldn’t hear each other speak and was sitting in restaurant not bar…..ruined ambience was way over the top! Shame as food was good etc

The welcome was amazing - we felt valued as customers, and the table set up was great. The ambiance was relaxed and the vibe fitted what we wanted from the meal. The service though was slow. We had to chase for someone to take our drinks order, and our food order and the meals took longer than we’d expected to around. That said, when they did, it was all delicious. Everything was a good temperature, the tastes and presentation was exquisite and the value for the quality was spot on. The wine we ordered was wonderful (both red and white) and the non-drinkers had options to suit. Back to the service - we were not offered coffees and declined desserts when we had to ask for the bill. There seemed to be enough people about and our host was gracious and helpful when she was there; it just wasn’t the level of attention that made our experience perfect.
