   Food was good, choice of gluten free dishes were excellent. The restaurant was noisy and the service at times felt lacking. However, overall we enjoyed our visit.

   Fabulous food and service, including a fabulous gluten free menu with plenty of choice. Delay on table being ready however staff were fantastic accommodating us with seats in the bar and complimentary prosecco. Attentive service at table. Overall fabulous time, always my favourite place when coming to York!

   This is the 2nd time we have been to this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint!! Really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back soon.

   Starters were wonderful, the Buratta was divine. Mains a bit indifferent, chicken milanese was lovely. Dover sole was over cooked and though flavoursome was a bit cottonwool texture.

   Lovely authentic Italian food in an atmospheric setting. Not the cheapest place but still value for money due to the quality of the menu, the staff were also lovely.

    The service and food were excellent, it was a little noisy but I'm not surprised as it was busy due to it being an fantastic place to have a meal. We chose off of the lunchtime set menu which was great value for money and we were all impressed with our food.
