Chef Frank Bonanno dug into his Sicilian heritage and east coast roots to create this authentic, rustic Italian eatery. Luca has amazing personal touches from the daily made breads and pastas to the meats and cheeses cured in house, to the charcoal drawing of Bonanno’s son (and the restaurant’s namesake) that hangs in the dining room. Luca is heartwarming and satisfying from the wood-fired pizzas to the hand-rolled pastas to the perfectly seared proteins. It’s not your ordinary pile-of-pasta-and-sauce Italian joint; it’s the real (and tasty) deal.

we had a very disappointing and quite rude experience at Luca tho evening. We purchased a gift card yesterday had the email proof at dinner and they were too incompetent to figure out how to apply the gift card. The gift card was generated from a Black Friday sale Luca was running.

Had a fantastic night celebrating the wife’s birthday. We were greeted with celebratory champagne and the food was just fantastic! Can’t wait for our next visit!

I have hesitated to write this because we have been to Luca several times in the past and loved it. Our experience this time was mediocre at best. We ordered cocktails that didn't come for 45 minutes. Our salads came at the same time as the appetizers and BEFORE we got our cocktails. My gin cocktail tasted like straight gin. The sauce for the manicotti was overly salted and the pasta was undercooked and super-chewy. At the end, our server informed us that 22% gratuity was automatically added for the back staff and that, since he had to share the tips with everybody back there, he would appreciate if we would give more. I'm a fan of tipping well, but for the restaurant to insist that 22% be added BEFORE we tip the server is ridiculous, especially when the bar couldn't make four drinks in a reasonable amount of time and the food runners couldn't "course" the meal properly. Very, very disappointed.

Luca was magical. They staff was so kind and attentive. The food was 10/10. They use unique and strong flavors to add a unique twist on classic pasta dishes. Truly my new favorite place.

We were the last table on a Tuesday night and you would have thought we were the first table on a Saturday night. From the complementary Prosecco to the fantastic Charcuterie board to the even better pasta(I’m from the east coast and it’s great pasta) Cat our server was the best.

Luca feels like a comfortable neighborhood Italian spot with good food and friendly service. No real complaints from our experience and it was definitely good enough for us to want to come back again.
