From signature drinks to a modern twist on some old classics, Louie’s has you covered. We use premium spirits, house made purees and fresh ingredients. We also boast Nelson’s largest scotch, rum and digestif collections for the more refined of palates.

A friend was visiting from Vancouver and Louie’s was my first choice for a nice dinner out. Food was great, service was great. Nice bottle of wine and good company made for a good evening

The staff was very friendly and polite and we were seated promptly. Booths and chairs were both comfy. I had the blackened ribeye med rare and my wife had the stuffed chicken. The side was steamed vegetables ( broccoli, peppers, carrot) with mashed potatoes. We each had a glass of wine. The order only took about 30 minutes but they were a little busy and it WAS a Friday and the kitchen also serviced the sports bar next door so we didn’t sweat the timing. We were served cocktails quickly and the staff made sure our water was topped off. Everything was superb! Steak was cooked just like I wanted and my wife’s chicken wasn’t dry in the least. The veggies were steamed perfectly and the potatoes were creamy and buttery. The portions were very good. Dessert was pana cotta with raspberry sauce for me and a chocolate brownie for my wife. The pana cotta was divine! The brownie wasn’t bad but nothing to write home about. The price was what we expected from a high end restaurant and after tip was just over $200. Money well spent! I would recommend Louie’s to anyone looking for a quality dining experience in Nelson! Thank you very much!

Delicious, overall. Crab cake appie surprisingly spicy & wee, but great presentation. Had the fish and chips, generous portion, crispy golden & yummy. Outstanding service, super pleasant attentive server.

Delicious steak…veggies cooked to perfection. Loved being able to get a 5oz. tenderloin. Awesome deal on wine on Wed. Staff were very friendly. Service top notch. Basically stumbled upon the place. Definitely will go back. Thanks for such a great experience.

Beautiful restaurant,quiet, excellent service, by far the best steak I have had in a long time. Great selection of wines at reasonable prices. Nelson is blessed to have a restaurant this wonderful. Would return in a heartbeat!
