   The restaurant was completely closed. We were able to make a reservation but when we showed up, with no notice, it was out of business.

   We shared a salad which was plenty for two. The heart shaped pizza was tasty and perfect size for two. We also had the heart shaped cookie but was surprised that we were charged twice. We were told that was due to the size but our sever offered to remove the extra charge. We sat on the patio and watched the lively community.

   Thank you so much for your great pizzas and all around dining experience! I’m from Chicago and i grew up on Lou’s so when we moved to Arizona and found your restaurants it was like home for us! I bring people we’ve met here in Arizona to experience your pizza and they are so happy with the pizza and the experience. You’ve never let us down. And we forward to bringing more friends and neighbors to experience Lou’s!!

   Got the thin crust for the first time. It was good but the sauce was just not the same as on the deep dish. With that said, we still brought the leftovers home.

   We are always stuffed and happy when we eat at Lou Malnati's and this visit was no different. We sat outside, which is a nice little courtyard area, so we could enjoy the beautiful weather. Our server was attentive, taking our order and bringing drinks/to go boxes, when we needed them. The pizza was amazing, as always. The Lou Classic is such a great combo of the fresh tomato, lean sausage, cheese and buttery crust, and we enjoy it so much, that it's really hard for us to order anything else. We can't wait for our next visit!

   I took my family and in-laws to dinner at the Camelback Rd location. My father-in-law's favorite food is pizza and he had never had Chicago-style deep dish, so I was excited for him to try it. It being a Sunday evening, the restaurant was relatively empty, but we were there at least 90 mins. I do understand it takes longer to make deep dish pizza, but 90 mins is excessive. Our server seemed like he was working, so no critique of him, but there seemed to be ample staff and still we had a long wait. Maybe more concerning, we found the pizza mediocre. The taste of the filling was fine, but the crust on both the regular and gluten-free seemed doughy and I was surprised how "empty" the pizza was of content relative to other deep dish pizzerias we have frequented.
