Before the James Beard Award and the Gourmet Magazine review, Lotus of Siam was a small little hole in the wall located in Commercial Center in Las Vegas. November 1999 was the month Chef Saipin and her husband Bill took over Lotus of Siam. Since then, Thai food became an adventure for those willing to step out of their comfort zones for Asian Cuisine. Chef Saipin’s distinct cooking has been passed down from generation to generation, from both her grandmothers and her husband’s grandmothers. Her northern style cooking has opened America into the “Northern” world of Thailand, away from the Bangkok style of sweet and tang. The northern menu consists of hearty herbs and spices, along with Thai style stews and coconut-less curries. Through her set menus, our guests can dine and enjoy recipes from over 100 years in the Chutima family.

    Lotus is our #1 favorite restaurant not only in Las Vegas, but anywhere. The food is incredible, the service is always friendly and professional, and the wine list is outstanding. I can't recommend Lotus highly enough!

    Egg rolls crispy and delicious. Sea bass w drunken noodles was superb, perfectly cooked fish, nice sauce that didn’t take away from the fish. The only discontent was the Larb the white breast meat of the chicken was just too dry for my palate. Finished off w mango sorbet, nice ending. Extensive wine list with some decent prices and other wines Parkerized in price.

    Food is amazing!!! We haven't been to the new location and ate at Lotus 12 years ago! We were looking forward to it and was not disappointed! Introduce my brother and his wife, we all give 5 stars! Thanks for such amazing food! Service was great but was pretty busy and waited for drinks for a while but we will be back. Thank you Lotus!
