   I had the pleasure of eating at Parkside tonight — we were a total of four adults and we all had great meals. Service was attentive but not overly so. Everything from starters (hush puppies and burata on toast with almonds and honey) to mains (salmon, steak and short ribs on pasta) to dessert (bread pudding) were all delicious. Can’t wait to go back again soon!

   Fantastic server, but loud, so so atmosphere. Food was ok. I had the ham eggs Benedict, which had way too much bread. It was hard to eat. Their “hash browns” were actually fingerling potatoes with an ABSURD amount of green peppers, and a few red peppers and onions. Green peppers are an extremely strong flavored ingredient, and polarizing. They should always be disclosed as an ingredient. Hash browns are GRATED FRIED potatoes - nothing like I received.

   The Easter brunch was a blast! The atmosphere was super fun, and the service was top-notch. It was a bit noisy, but it was great for the little ones.

   Sitting outside was a game changer! Inside was way too loud so we asked to sit outside. Food was excellent as usual and I tried the boldest cocktail ever that was very surprising! Service was spotless and our waiter was very friendly and subtle. Highly recommended.

   We visited Parkside a couple of years ago when they opened and I didn’t feel they had enough interesting lunch vegetarian options for me. On Wednesday PM of this week, we went back with our son and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! We started with the avocado toast (which was out of this world), and we loved that it was spicy. I ordered the vegetarian ravioli: delicious. Our son ordered the New York steak— he thoroughly enjoyed it coupled with the tasty mashed potatoes. My husband remarked that he cannot wait to go back because he enjoyed his short ribs so much! For us, the wine list pricing was high $$$. Our server was excellent and answered several questions to our satisfaction. The crème brûlée was the perfect finish to our meal. For diners sensitive to noise, I would suggest NOT sitting in the booth area next to the bar or in the bar area.

    I’ve been here on numerous occasions and it’s always been really good unfortunately this time was a bit of a let down . Rib appetiser’s were good although lukewarm- my wife and her freind had the Cauliflower and it was cold- 2 of us had the salmon entree and it was excellent although the jam preserve was a little much. Our other friend had steak frites and he enjoyed it . My wife had the pasta and it was rather bland and anaemic looking, and warm not hot. We ordered a bottle of Sancerre only to have it bought to us with red wine glasses ? ( happened before) I genuinely hope the service and quality isn’t slipping over time - the thing that worries is that it wasn’t even busy .
