   Wonderful setting on the bay. Seating request for table by the water. Although bush because of the holidays, service was excellent. Lunch menu had offerings gs that make me want to return.

   Service was good. Great variety of food but salty like most restaurants. Love the atmosphere. Bar area way too noisy. We sat inside and we're able to have a conversation. Overall a nice place we will return to.

   Every time we go back to Long Island to visit family and friends we eat at Lombardi's on the Bay or Mama Lombardi's since it was always one of our favorite restaurants. Unfortunately, It is not one of our favorites any longer. We ordered drinks, appetizers and entrees. The grilled octopus was fantastic, but the rest of the meal was tasteless, overcooked, and so dry to the point you didn't know you were eating veal parm, and even the water logged pasta underneath didn't help it, plus i t had an odd taste. The chicken Parm also tasted off from another guest at the table. The pasta with spinach & shrimp was bland and the shrimp was so overcooked with no flavor. The Wait staff never asked if there was a problem with the 2 entrees left on the plate. There was 4 in our party and 3 of the 4 entrees were not good. What a $400 disappointment. There are many other restaurants that you could spend your money at and that we will do next time in town.

   There is a sense of artistic conception near the water. The food, environment and service are all good.

   We were a party of 3. We shared calamari as an appetizer which was perfectly done — the best we’ve had. As entrees, we had salmon picatta, baked salmon and a stuffed veal chop. All of us were very satisfied. Dan, our waiter, who we always ask for, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. We’ve gone here many times and will continue to do so.
