Our reservation was for a party of “4” at 6:00pm Friday evening. We were seated in one of the “half moon” bench tables which was extremely comfortable. Our server was prompt to welcome us and asked for our drink orders. After returning with our drinks order, we were asked if we cared for any “Starter”. We’s heard so much about their “Meat Balls” we just had to place an order. Those “5” meatballs were the VERY BEST” we’ve ever enjoyed. When our meals arrived we were blown away by the presentation and began enjoying “4” outstanding Pasta and Seafood meals. Just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bit, our server recommended two different desserts. OMG both were outstanding. All four diners highly recommend Lombardi’s Cucina Restaurant for any occasion.

We came for dinner because we were in the mood for Italian food and haven't to Lombardi's before. Service was good... our waitress went through the motions but nothing stood out. The food was mediocre Italian at best. The gnocchi had too much mozzarella cheese but was otherwise passable. The octopus was a little too salty and just a little overcooked but still good. The meditarranean grilled fish (special) was way overpriced for overcooked fish and very mediocre sides. The brussels sprouts were so greasy, they were inedible. The peppers were not roasted peppers, but over sauteed with the skin on, leaving the bitter taste and texture of bell pepper skins. Two minutes to roast the peppers and peel the skins would have made a huge difference. The price of the wine is too high....$285 for Far Niente and $250 for Nickel and Nickel recent vintage cabs for example. All-in-all, a disappointment at the pricepoint. The one standout was the spinach ravioli with an addition of grilled shrimp.....very tasty.

The food and service here is outstanding. The ambience is that of a lively eatery with a wide open space, so not too romantic, although it is beautiful. We found the large screen tvs on the wall a bit odd in this type of establishment. This place makes our list of favorites and we will definitely return.

I had specifically requested a table by the piano in my reservation made several weeks before the evening. There’s an open table next to the piano when we arrive but we’re told by the very snippy host staff that we can’t sit there because in 45 minutes time they have the intent of pushing that table next to the 4 top by it for a larger party. So either that was poor table planning on their part or they just don’t care about requests or apparently there is a pecking order and only large groups can sit there? Disappointing start to the evening because the food and our waiter were good. They are keen to turn tables though and we felt rushed and had to ask twice to pause.

This was our second visit. We loved it the first time and decided to celebrate Valentines here. All of the staff were very friendly, the food has consistently been impeccable, and the decor is stunning yet comfortable at the same time. I had the Arugula Mista salad and Ravioli Burro & Salvia. It is divine! My husband had steak and said it was delicious as well. The service was a bit slow, but it as Valentines weekend and packed so that is to be expected. Plus our server acknowledged it and kept apologizing. It is a bit pricey but totally worth it for a special occasion. This is a case of “you get what you pay for”. I have recommended to friends. We will definitely be back again!

I think the portion is too small and overpriced. I did not enjoy the special of the day. We will not return to this restaurant, which is unfortunate because I love visiting the star.
