Living Foods aims to bring the Kauai community healthy food choices, upscale groceries, and a fun, casual café and restaurant environment for Kama’aina & Tourists alike to gather. At Living Foods, Ohana means bringing guests together around high-quality and socially conscious products and ingredients on a daily basis.

Living Foods features a fully-stocked grocery with ready-made to-go items as well as more permanent fixtures for weekly grocery needs. Living Foods café features coffee and fresh baked goods, and is open daily. The all-day restaurant at Living Foods will feature breakfast, lunch, and dinner, highlighting menu items such as Fried Rice, Bibimbap, Aguachile, and Smash Burger and is open from 7am to 10pm.

    The atmosphere, food and service were great. I was a little disappointed that they were out of the Thai Beef Salad. They had somewhat limited GF options that were not sandwiches or salads. I did order the roasted chicken and vegetables which was GF and delicious. My husband liked the smash burger, but the fries were average.

    This was our favorite restaurant of our trip! Lovely atmosphere with amazing food (that was more economical than other nice but overpriced options nearby). Favorites were kale salad with baked fish and also quiche of the day. Drinks were great as well! Highly recommend!

    Delicious food, great service, beautiful outdoor seating area. I love their motto, “Eat locally, know the source.” I love knowing I’m eating quality nutrients! I also love knowing I’m supporting local farmers. I would highly recommend!

    What a great find! We've been coming to the Poipu area for about 20 years and are always excited to 'discover' a great new restaurant. Living Foods is a fun mash-up of a sports bar in elegant, outdoorsy surroundings with very friendly service staff and an imaginative island-sourced menu. And the drinks menu is hilarious -- and good! They seem to be making a real effort to keep prices within reach, which we appreciate is difficult on little, remote Kauai. The charcuterie board was A+ as was the po' boy, fish of the day and Thai beef salad. Hooray for Living Foods!

    We had fish special and ribeye steak both were delicious and a chocolate dessert Everything tasted delicious. Great night out! Our waitress was excellent!
