   Surprising place! This restaurant is within a shopping center, very unassuming. However the food is out of this world. The tuna brulée appetizer was very spicy but full of flavor. My wife had the seared tuna (yes tuna again). The piece of tuna was enormous, tender and delicious. I had the lobster noodle salad; I expected a few pieces of lobster, I had a ton of lobster. We highly recommend to visit this gem of a restaurant.

   The food, as always, was superb, but we were rushed through our appetizer, my husband's soup was delivered too early, and the waiter kept trying to take my dish which was half eaten so I'd have something left to eat while my husband had his main course. We asked for a specific order of delivery of dishes, and this did not happen (we ordered 3 apps and 1 main course). The restaurant was not busy. All in all, an excellent meal was ruined by terrible service, and we won't be back soon. We understand staff shortage issues, but this went way beyond that.

   I thought the food was average. They were out a few things we wanted which didnt help. We woudl have left and gone someplace else but it as storming and late and we didnt think we could get in someplace on a friday night. We also asked our server if the food we ordered was spicy and he said no but it was...so that didnt help. By the time he came over to ck it wasnt worth ordering more dishes. Overall it was kind of lousy and I will not be going there on my next trip to Asheville

   Manager Lisa Onderdonk does a fabulous job. She and her team are wonderful across the board - seating, service, beverage offerings and the food. Little Pearl has an expansive menu that is prepared beautifully. Come out and give Little Pearl a try: I think you’ll really enjoy it, too!!

    We dined here recently and everything was excellent. We had oysters to start and they were fresh and expertly opened. Our waitress was helpful in choosing from the selection offered that day. Next we had the wok fried littlenecks and these we excellent as well. We were grateful for the bread to soak up the wonderful broth. Both our entrees were very good. We took advantage of the discount on full bottles of wine and enjoyed a vino verde. A wonderful evening with great seafood.
