   I am writing to express my disappointment with the service my friends and I received at your restaurant. From the moment we arrived, we felt unwelcome and rushed, which significantly affected our dining experience. As soon as we sat down, the waitress immediately asked if we were ordering the Sunday Roast. Since we hadn’t even seen the menu yet, we were unsure. Without giving us time to decide, she informed us that the table was booked in 2 hours and that we would have to leave by then. Her attitude made it seem like she was doing us a favor by allowing us to sit there, which was extremely unpleasant. We eventually placed our orders, and my husband did decide to have the Sunday Roast. A few minutes later, the waitress returned to say that she had managed to “reallocate some tables” and that we could stay an extra 30 minutes. We found this odd but later realized that the extra time was only granted because the food took so long to arrive. When we had 30 minutes left before we had to leave, a friend of ours ordered a paint of beer. Instead of serving it politely, the waitress rudely stated that there wouldn’t be enough time to drink it because we had to live the table—again, with no courtesy or professionalism. Both my husband and I work in the hospitality industry, in a busy restaurant where table turnover needs to happen efficiently. We completely understand the importance of managing reservations and table timing, but there is always a way to communicate this with professionalism The entire experience felt rushed and unwelcoming, and the lack of basic hospitality was truly disappointing. We will not be returning, and I hope this feedback helps you improve your service. Thanks

   Great food served in what’s essentially (to my mind at least) a top notch gastropub. The staff are amazing the the Sunday roast is a knockout

   Came here for a pre-show drink/meal. I ordered the burger and the food was great. Price was reasonable for St Kilda. Service a little bit slow to start with as weren't offered a drink after we were seated and for a little while after. That said once we got going, things were good. A nice relaxing English pub ambience which considering it was the F1 GP weekend was a pleasant surprise.

   We were running late but they had saved our table and we and we were looked after. Really good food, wine list and tap beer. Service was excellent. Definitely going back.

   Went for the steak night and was good value, I would have preferred some greens to salad with the steak but overall pretty good 👌🏽
