LINO is a bar and all-day restaurant located in a refurbished linoleum and carpet warehouse, with Richard Falk of The Dairy heading up the kitchen, taking an innovative approach to everything from cocktails to charcuterie.

Decorated in shades of peach and salmon with green antique brass fixtures, the space takes inspiration from minimalist Finnish design.

Meanwhile, the menu is focused on low-waste dishes across an all-day menu that includes sauerkraut and cheddar croquettes and Middle white pork chop, LINO barbecue sauce, hispi cabbage, bacon crumb and smoked apple. Enjoy with botanically-infused tipples, cocktails with house ferments and craft spirits.

I really enjoyed the food. The location is spacious. The night we dined at Lino was very quiet. The setting it typical of a "City restaurant" or anyway somewhere were to have a pint and then it just happen also to have a restaurant. They could have maybe divided the space better. I can see why in a busy day, with more people at the bar, it could become noisy and not as enjoyable to eat at the tables.

Expected this City based restaurant to be quiet on a weekend but it was incredibly quiet - we were one of 4 tables. Service was lovely - attentive not in your face, very casually dressed staff - food was good (especially the cheddar croquettes on sauerkraut, although portion was very small), but the lack of ambience was a bit of a killer - we didn't stay for dessert or cocktails. Loved the long tall windows from the old lino factory, liked the exposes industrial pipework and downstairs looked a great bar area, but was empty. Would be interested to see mid-week, when local City workers all in

Very solid modern bistro/pub type place. Very enjoyable steak bavette, EXCELLENT chips, and a decent choice of modern beers. Ideal for a casual lunchtime catch-up with decent food.

Nice urban eatery. Recommend the negroni - a tasty treat.

What a lovely find! The food is really good - healthy, intersting, good options for vegetarians and vegans also; the place is wide, spacious and - a huge tick from me - the tables aren't all bunched together. Comfy plush sofas at marble tables, just right for sharing plates and drinking wine! Staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and there is no sense of being rushed. Great value, great location ( out of the way, so all locals lunching and not touristy ), great food, great drinks menu, relaxing vibe.

Had dinner here with my friend on a quiet Tuesday evening - went for the 3 courses menu. Good food with reasonable price. Will definitely visit again

After being first shown a table away from everyone else in another empty room and then another table that was for 8 people in the main restaurant the staff found the three of us a nice table in the restaurant. There were only three other tables occupied!! A strange experience!!! The food was good and the service attentive although I didn’t like the very long thumbnail on the waiter!!! A little off putting. My three haddock croquettes (starter) were produced in a tiny bowl with no lettuce leaves or any trimmings. They tasted good though. The tiny bowl wasn't even sitting on a plate. It just seemed a strange way to present a starter. We ate on a Thursday lunchtime so perhaps the chef that day needed a little training in presentation! My haddock in batter was tasty and the other two people had steak slicers in sourdough. They said that it was good. I would recommend this restaurant but perhaps insist on a decent table.

The food is good, albeit a very limited menu. More a wine bar atmosphere than restaurant, due to the noise level. It’s ok if you want a lite bite, not a serious restaurant.
