   Lincoln Ristorante presented a perfect location and delicious menu for a lovely Easter lunch. I hadn’t been back for a number of years, but everything was as I remembered in its beautiful Lincoln Center location.

   Possibly the best Italian cuisine in New York City. Two different pasta dishes were outstanding, and our server "Amit" was 'old school' attentive and caring.

   Poor service, lack of communication, no attention for water refills, rigid kitchen. Not willing to accommodate. Needs to improve ability to please diner.

   I made a reservation 3 weeks in advance for a pre-theater dinner. When we arrived, all tables outside were amply. We asked for a table outdoors and were offered the small table in the sun. Me and my friend were wearing evening dark clothes, and we asked for one of the tables under umbrellas (they were all empty). However, we were told they are for 4 people and they can't give it to us! We got a table indoors, but our mood was ruined! Our disappointment was even greater when ALL 3 tables under umbrellas were given to the 2 people parties who came after us!!! Your hostesses must know that they set up the mood of the customers for the whole evening, and being so unaccomodating is NOT what the fine dining is about. I will not come back although I used to dine at this place often!

   We absolutely loved our dinner. The potato & caviar bites, tiny as they were, were delicious. Orzo & Lobster tasted great. I particularly loved the fragrant herbs they used in it. Spaghetti with crabmeat was delicious as well. The service was impeccable. I would definitely recommend Lincoln Ristorante as a pre-opera or post-opera experience.

   For a restaurant that is supposed to feel Italian, it was a little sub-par. The service was good, but the food was okay - nothing to rave about or run back to. In an Italian restaurant, I like to feel an Italian vibe, which comes from the employees speaking Italian and more, which this restaurant lacked all around. It's a great spot to catch a meal before the opera, but don't expect to be blown away and overly impressed.

   In the expensive side, but good value. Portions are ample, food is excellent. Good wines by the glass. Excellent service. Tables are well spaced.
