The food was outstanding. The servers were polite, attentive and on point. KBLX was phenomenal with the music. I observed the guests having a marvelous time. Overall it was a great experience.

The food was really delicious. The only complaint is that the food wasn't really hit. It was buffet style, everything was on warmers, but some of the items were warm, but a few items were actually cold.

No one to check us in at the door. They didn’t even know we had a reservation. Line was long. So we left and went to another restaurant.

There is no longer waiter service. The food was not warm enough. The food is not as well prepared as when it first opened. The greens were too salty and the fried chicken was too dry. The peach cobbler was delicious.

I found this to be one more of the many hidden treasures of the Bay Area. The buffet was my choice and of course will be on my second visit as well. I will add this though: Baked Fish, Fried Chicken, Oxtails, yams, greens, Mac and cheese, potato salad. I guess you get the picture, so why not stop by and get a plate as well.
