Le DeSales, a restaurant located in South Dupont, across the street from the historic Mayflower Hotel. Upon reopening in December, Michelin-starred Chef Raphael François has brought back his most popular dishes while teaming with award winning Sushi Master Noriaki Yasutake (formally SEI Restaurant) presenting French/Asian cuisine, including a full sushi menu (signature Fish and Chips Roll) in an informal, cozy, and romantic setting. The specialized wine list includes diversified appellations encompassing regions as unexpected as Macedonia and Portugal, with a concise focus on France, Italy, and California. Also offering a sake menu and selections of Japanese Whiskeys. Le DeSales is available for large parties, semi-private events, and buyouts. Outdoor seating is available, weather permitting.
No reservation is needed for Happy Hour. Please walk in and one of our friendly staff will find you a spot.

Food and service were excellent! My only comment would be it was quite loud so hard for our group to talk to everyone at the table. We will definitely go back!!

Atmosphere was lively and great. Service very good and attentive. Nigiri appetizer and edamame were excellent; lamb shank main course was good, salmon main course was surprisingly bland.

Great service, great menu with lots of choices. French and sushi. I didn’t see steak frites on the menu though. French onion soup was yummy, beets salad too. Generous bar pours. Restaurant has neat accordion door front. Sit inside or out. Ask for a table near the back unless you want to be close to street dining.

Our party of 3 dined inside DeSales last night. We ordered numerous items from the menu to share including desserts. The service was quite good, attentive but not too much so. Everyone we spoke to was friendly and cordial. All of the food we ate was delicious and creative. I especially appreciated the more reasonable portions compared to other restaurants that, frankly, serve portions that are way too big. We will definitely go back despite the noise level when it filled up with other diners.
