The restaurant had never received the reservation from open table. They were able to accomodate us but if we had not arrived early, we would have been without a table..

Malgré la réservation confirmée sur opentable le restaurant était fermé quand nous sommes arrivés... sur le site du restaurant ça disait qu’ils ferment à 21:00... nous sommes arrivés à 20:30... portes closes...

Went here to celebrate New Years Eve. We had reservations for later in the evening and thought we were going to relax and have a pleasant meal. Not so.....we had only taken a few sips of our cocktails when the waiter came to open and pour our bottle of wine! So in the middle of sipping my cocktail ...I am now taste testing the wine....then immediately after that our salads came and then our dinners. We held back purposely ordering our dessert so we could get a chance to sit and relax. We were uncomfortable and felt that they were totally rushing us out of there. As well, we were seated on the ground floor where it was somewhat chaotic as they were accepting reservations off the street as well. They could not keep the outside doors closed properly and so it was drafty and quite chilly. As well, even though we had reservations and were there on time, we still had to line up outside in the freezing cold. Most disappointing overall though was that we were so rushed through our ....what we though was going to a nice celebatory evening.

Restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Service was warm , welcoming and efficient. The menu was interesting and varied.We arrived at approximately 7.00 p.m. and were the only people there which made us think that maybe it was not a popular place, By 8,00 p.m. however the place was completely full. Even so the service remained good and the food was excellent value. We will return next time we are in Montreal and will certainly recommend it to friends.

The food was amazing. A cozy tucked away gem. The staff was very welcoming. Our waitress was delightful and had a wonderful sense of humor. I highly recommend this restaurant and plan to return on future visits to Montréal.

My second trip, the other coming two years ago, and still wonderful. A reasonably priced authentic French restaurant, serving country dishes. The French onion soup and Quebec cheese tasting opened the meal and were delicious. The beef stew was aromatic and perfect for a cold evening, and the creme brûlée topped off the evening nicely.

Fabulous bistro!! Owner/chef made a special salad for my vegan friend - not an easy feat at a french restaurant! Everything was just lovely. Delicious!
