   The food quality is average, overpriced, and flavorless. The Pork Belly was just a hunk of pork fat with no life to it. The “Prime” aged ribeye was poorly prepared; probably seared in an aluminum skillet and then finished in a 400 degree oven. The Filet, ordered medium, was overcooked to well and had to be returned. The LB Potato was loaded but had absolutely no flavor. In fact, none of the dishes had any flavor. Worst of all, it’s overpriced. This is not a true steakhouse. If you want a good steak don’t go to LB Steak. You will get a much better steak at Morton’s, Harris’, Del Frisco’s, Maestros, and a few other places that serve true prime beef that’s prepared correctly.

   All or most menu items are a la carte. I ordered the ribeye boneless steak and it was good but not great. It came with onions, small tomatoes, and Shishito peppers. It also came with 4 sauces that were tasty but did not add to the flavor of the steak. We had the fries and they were good. My husband had the lobster bisque soup and he said it was excellent. He also ordered the lobster tail and his review was it was good, but not excellent. I had the Cosmo Martini and it was so very delicious, I wish I would have drank my dinner. My husband had a fancy foaming sparkely drink and he liked it. Our Berry Creme Brulee was very tasty and it was a great way to end our dinner. It came with a candle because it was our anniversay, but it was not comped. Our bill with the tip was $240, there was a 4% added in automatically to cover the increased servers wages, but I don't remember exactly how it was worded. It was Super Bowl Sunday so we weren't expecting a lot of people, but the restaurant was pretty full. I would have given the ambiance a higher score if we were seated in a booth, but we were seated by the window in a two seater table, so it was not cozy. LB Steak, San Ramon is very close to our house, so we were hoping for a better experience but the wait staff were most excellent. We were greeted friendly as we came in the front door and were wished Happy Anniversary. We probably won't go back for dinner, but Monday nights the Martini's are $10, so I'll probably go back for that!

   Update: My friend and I are still recovering from the Norovirus. In addition, our credir cards were charged multiple times. Went to LB Steak in San Ramon to have dinner with a friend. I arrived earlier than expected and inquired about happy hour and if it was available at the regular dining area or, specifically, for the bar only. The host explained the arrangement to me (bar area and 5 tables, but the tables are essentially communal tables, not ideal for a group of 2), then followed up with, "Just so you know in the future, happy hour is only in the bar area", and she was curt about it. Although I was disappointed in the host's demeanor, we enjoyed having Mike as our server. He was excellent and very helpful. Sadly, my steak arrived overcooked, but he had them replace it straight away.

   The food was ok. The steaks were unusually thin for the price you pay. The plates have ridges on them so when you cut the steak it makes a horrible noise. The salmon was very good.

   The service was outstanding, the food was great. The only thing I would suggest is the table size be a bit bigger. We felt a bit crowded on the small table.

   Food was average. Overpriced for steak given the quality. The filet flavor was ok and cooked well but rib eye was underwhelming. I think the quality of the meat is not so great for a steakhouse of this calliber . Branzino was very tasty. Baked potato needed more salt, the mashed potatoes were dry. Brussel sprouts and mac and cheese were very good. Molten cake was not really cake and more pudding in the middle. Service was great.

   Waitress was Very Helpful And Knowledgeable on all Items on the Menu . It was Helpful for our first time to LB Steak for My Husband and Son who wanted to try Wagyu Steak which they said was very tasty and worth trying . All food was excellent and worth trying because you will not be disappointed 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

    We dined here with one other couple to celebrate 2 birthdays. They were fast to seat us and did a fine job of honoring our request for a quiet seating. Unfortunately, one of us ordered scallops but they delivered a pork chop instead. They took that back, but we had to wait a while for the scallops to arrive. I ordered a ribeye steak and it was very chewy. Perhaps because I ordered it medium rare instead of just medium. But other than that, the drinks and food was great and we had a very nice time.
