Very tasty lunch, with it's location in mind, unsurprisingly strong on seafood. Friendly and warm service - It would be fun to go there on an evening, when a busier crowd would no doubt create a buzz...

We are big fans of what the new owners have done with the place, turning an "old style" drinking pub into a very interesting and appealing restaurant. We have been there quite frequently and will continue to do so. Fully recommended.

First and definitely won’t be our last visit… if you haven’t been, the new owners really have got a lovely place, great staff and tasty food: all at a very reasonable price. It’s cosy inside, not loads of covers, so glad we booked. Because it was busy it got a bit noisy but the flavours, food and service make up for it.

Lovely refurbished restaurant with a great menu outstanding food and great knowledgeable service. Will definitely be back when visiting Whitstable again.

Had an absolutely fantastic time at the Lazy Lobster for my partner’s birthday. The setting is lovely, the service excellent and the food delicious. Between the two of us, we had 3 sharing plates, two sides, bread (with delicious seaweed butter), two fried oysters, a pudding and a couple of drinks each and it came to £55 a head. We thought this was very reasonable for what is really excellent quality food. We have visited a number of Michelin star restaurants in Kent and beyond and, whilst a more relaxed/informal style of dining at the Lazy Lobster, we certainly felt that there were dishes that would compete. We particularly loved the tuna tartare, lobster and prawn noodles and chocolate panna cotta with marmalade. We’ll definitely be back to sample other plates!

Food was exceptional! Each dish was a delight with interesting and sometimes surprising flavours. Lovely inside with great service. Also enjoyed Moretti Sale di Mare on tap!!

Superb. Staff were very welcoming and the food was excellent. It is a sharing menu, much like tapas so food arrives when ready rather than how it is ordered. I would highly recommend it.
