The food was shockingly bad. My linguini with clam sauce was sauceless, dry, and flavorless. My boyfriend's tortelloni had thick, rubbery pasta, a dry filling, and a sauce that tasted like crushed tomatoes straight out of a can. My bean soup was fine. Inviting dining room. Friendly waiters. But terrible food. It's hard to mess up basic Italian food so badly but they did.

Nice to be at a NYC restaurant where the staff cares about your experience. The corner table was perfect and Ed’s special visit made us (tourists) feel much at home. The food was delicious.

Entrees were okay but not great. The bread they brought out initially was stale, and I don't think they cared. Overall, it's a cool, old-school neighborhood vibe but a little run down.

Absolutely the best meal we’ve had in NYC. The artichoke gnocchi was beyond delicious and a real treat. David our waiter made us feel like family while making all the best recommendations for apps, specials and of course the wine! He is a gem at the restaurant. Love love loved the restaurant. Will come back and recommend to all of our friends.
