Our tour company booked us into the Santiago Marriott and we were initially too exhausted to look for our first meal (lunch) beyond the hotel. To our surprise, the food and service were both excellent. For a variety of reasons, we wound up returning for multiple meals and were not disappointed once. Delicious, well-prepared food, wonderful service, and quite reasonable prices. We sat out on the lovely patio, with palm trees and a waterfall, and also inside on a Friday evening where there was an excellent pianist. Highly recommend The Latin Grill and its companion, Cafe Med.

This was the best restaurant we ate at in all of South America! The food was outstanding, especially the trout. Very good value and great service.

Un buen restaurante, con prolija atención, hay un especial esmero por hacer sentir bien a los comensales y particularmente cuando se está celebrando algo . Tal vez mejoría la posición del Restaurant dentro del Hotel, en un piso más privilegiado .

Wonderful food (especially the lamb), nice atmosphere, complimentary glass of sparkling wine, pleasant piano playing all makes for a worthwhile dining experience definitely a step above most hotel restaurants. Well done!

We were not happy with the electronic menus that were confusing and inappropriate in such a nice restaurant. At least we could order from the waiter and not have to add items to the "cart" and order electronically! Although there were only 2 other tables occupied in the restaurant, it took an hour for them to serve our dinner. There was no explanation for this.

It was outrageous: we got a confirmation for our reservation, but when we arrived we discovered that the restaurant was closed that night. Shame on them.
