Florida’s only two Michelin star restaurant, and the only two Michelin star Joël Robuchon restaurant in the U.S., L'Atelier Miami of The Bastion Collection is the incarnation of the late Chef Joël Robuchon’s groundbreaking concept, staying true to the original Parisian roots while drawing inspiration from the surrounding city and location in the Miami Design District.

L'Atelier’s name refers to a craftsman’s workshop, emphasizing Chef Robuchon’s hallmark of elevating the simplest of dishes into something extraordinary using pristine ingredients, immaculate technique and abundant creativity. The chef’s counter seating faces directly into the open kitchen, allowing for a dynamic interaction between the chefs and diners, and view into the creative process.

Food was very good as always..the servers were very nice but service wasn't great. Not once did they fill up the wine glasses. We each had to pour our own wine, same w the bottled water. I had to ask for another bottle of water as ours was empty on the table for awhile. Once we finished the bottle of wine no one asked if wanted another bottle or even a glass of wine..not even close to Two Michelin star service!

Excellent overall, though quite pricey when you factor in wine (many bottles $600 and up) and service charges. We had the 6-course seasonal menu. 2 of the items were phenomenal; 4 were excellent. We went for the optional 7th course (gnocchi with truffle), which was quite a disappointment in terms of consistency and flavor. We were surprised to find it was a $55/person up-charge

It was my first time at the Miami location after having dined at the NYC location before it closed. Run, don't walk to this restaurant. Menu items hit every taste, from meat lovers to pescatarians. Delicious food, an outstanding wine list, and great service. If you are in Miami visiting make a reservation before coming into town, if you live here put it on your "must" do list.

I loved the food, and the service was incredible. We did the EVOLUTION chef’s tasting and added the truffle gnocchi- it was my favorite course. We also did one sub for A5 Wagyu and kept one filet- both were decadent and I’m glad we tried each. All of the servers and food runners were knowledgeable and guided us through the meal. My only complaint is that my table was so hot.My date and I noticed it was noticeably hotter than the bar area or other areas of the restaurant. Maybe it was just a dead zone for AC?
