A nice spot for simple neighborhood meal. Nothing special but certainly fine. Prices are reflective of the quality. Moderate across the board.

Do better. My party of 4 arrived 45 minutes earlier than our reservation of 6:30 pm. We asked to be seated when we noticed that tables were available & were told that because we were earlier than the time we were expected, we couldn't be seated, we would have to wait. During that 45 minute period, we saw people being seated and yes, perhaps some of them had reservations but not all. We HEARD people asking to be accommodated that did not have reservations & they were led to tables. We waited past the time for our reservation - 20 minutes, as the restaurant filled up, watching other people being seated. Again, some without reservations. Since we were standing by the front desk, we HEARD what was going on. My friends and I were NOT happy about this, at all. 20 minutes now became 45 minutes past the reservation time. When we were finally seated, the restaurant was at it's busiest, wait staff was stretched. It seemed like it was short staffed. It took another 20 minutes for the waiter to take our order. He warned us that our dinners may come out within minutes of our appetizers & that certainly was the case. We had just begun our appetizers when dinner was brought out - NOT IDEAL. The table was small & we had to finish the apps quickly, pile on the dishes up to make room for our dinner plates. And dinner? I ordered veal parmigiana: the pasta was too soft, overcooked, the edges of the veal were burned & it tasted fishy. I couldn't eat it. This dining experience was such a let down, especially since it was my 4th time eating there, had had wonderful previous dining experiences before. My friends had also been there with us last year & were so looking forward to last night's dinner. VERY disappointed.

We always have a great time here. The food is so yummy, and the atmosphere is warm, cozy, and laidback. Our server was excellent, too. I would absolutely love an actual vegan entree. I’m pretty sure we’d move in. We’ll be back!

The restaurant was unusually crowded and service was very slow. We had a 5 pm reservation and I stressed in the online request that we had a 7:00 pm curtain at Walnut Street Theatre, yet we had to ask several times for a dessert menu and the check. We were finally able to leave at 6:50 pm. Thank God the theatre was two blocks away!! Not good!!
