Very nice chill environment. Kind of dark inside; everyone is using their phones to light the menu. Food was good. Some dishes were better than the other; steak was top notch. Carrot cake was very good as well.

Muy amables todos pero la comida bastante mala, parecía que estaba todo pre hecho. Lo único bueno fue la hamburguesa. Pudiera ser que Iván el gerente descanso hoy pero el restaurante debe de funcionar al 100.

Creative menu with delicious offerings. The carrot cake dessert was spectacular. We ordered a second one! Kudos to the pastry chef. We highly recommend this comfortable and charming spot.

The place is very cozy and has a wide selection of drinks and wines. The food is good in general, but extremely limited for those with allergies. If you have Celliac's, they have a gf bread, but it tastes like an afterthought to be honest. Avoid the gluten free pastries, they're cross contaminated

Our waiter seemed new. Didn’t really guide us in our choices when we wavered . Didn’t check on us, didn’t get our coffee until well after dessert .

Overall, the food at Lardo was ok but I felt there are better choices to eat at while in Mexico City. The house bread was delicious and the kabobs were good but some of the other food items had a unique flavour combination. I ordered a mojito and the alcohol was heavily poured, in addition to the excessive amount of mint that was used in my glass. I needed to get a fork to remove the mound of mint that was in my glass, so that I could drink it without getting pieces stuck in my teeth or having to use my fingers to remove them from my tongue. We ordered the carrot cake, as it was recommended by a friend and rather than being a traditional carrot cake, it was almost a deconstructed version of it consisting of pieces of pastries with a carrot cake filling in between.
