   The restaurant is lovely. The service was perfect attentive but not intrusive. The waiter was very good. The food was excellent. We started with zucchini flowers that were delicious and then shared a Margarita pizza exceptional. There were 4 of us and we shared 2 entries Chicken Milanese and Papperdelle Genovese both were excellent. A wonderful experience.

   Next Level Caesar, super flavorful pizza and outstanding hospitality made the last minute decision to get a salad and a pie so worth it. One comment would be the “flop” factor on the pizza. Maybe it’s the style of da Michele but I would’ve preferred to have a touch more crisp browning and sturdiness in the dough. It’s almost as if the oven was too hot that quickly blistered the bottom of the pie with just cooked, white floppy bottom…a little more time to leaven and bake would make this a true 5 star pizza experience. All that said, I plan on returning next time I’m in Long Beach. Great job!

   Our waiter, Damian (?) Aka bartender but also had tables, was amazing! Actually the entire staff were on top of it. Clearing the tables, filled up our waters, it was a team effort indeed. Food is always phenomenal! We tried a new pizza today and it didn’t disappoint. Based off his recommendation so I forgot the name of it

   Great food. I went with my family of five and we tasted each others’ dishes and all were excellent. Service was also very good. Do not remember the waiter’s name but he was attentive despite having to deal with a large number of tables.

   Food & service was amazing! The noise level was bad but less because of the acoustics and more because of the noisy neighboring table. The waiter kindly moved us so we could talk over dessert. My one suggestion to improve here is the pizza is a bit soggy. It’s because of the plating. I would suggest to have a wire pizza rack under the ceramic plate when you bring it to the table. It keeps the pizza crispy, instead of allowing juices to pool and make it slightly soggy. Even if the wire racks don’t look so nice !

    Nice restaurant. A bit overpriced. All the employees we encountered were exceptionally, friendly and helpful. Food was good. What my friends and I were unhappy about was that after receiving our starter dishes, the entrées appeared just two minutes later! The wait staff needs to be instructed to allow plenty of time so that the diners have the opportunity to finish their soups and salads (unless those are serving as the "main course" for everyone at the table.)
