   We spent Valentine’s Day at Lano, and the vibe was perfect, music, candles, everything set the mood just right. The Romeo and Juliet wine pairing was amazing, and Sammy made it extra special for us. The food was decent, but the crudo and croquettes were definitely our faves.

   We encountered a significant delay because the restaurant being overcrowded, and many people arriving late for their reservations. The food was decent, but the highlight of the evening was definitely the wine pairing and the sommelier's storytelling which really made our night! We are in the industry as well and we appreciate the way he treated us despite the delays! My fiancé and I had a fun night overall!

   The food was alright but at 150 I had hoped for a bit more. The drinks were ok but not fantastic to justify the price either. Deserts were really nicely done. The service from each of the servers was excellent but the lack of coordination had us introduced maybe 3 times by different servers. My reservation was for 10pm but our table was only ready at 10:45pm. A hold of 150 was made in case I am late or can’t make it but the restaurant can be 45 minutes late for my date night.

   My girlfriend and I attended LANO’s Valentine’s Day Prix Fixe dinner. I had booked the reservation more than a week in advance and had asked that we both be accommodated with vegetarian meals, and to let me know if that was not possible. We arrived at our reservation about 30 minutes late due to weather and traffic, and were seated almost immediately. We then waited for around 15 minutes while no one came to serve us. Keep in mind, we were told by the hostess that they were having two seatings that night: one at 9 and one at 10:30 and that we would have to be done by 10:30, so the other party could be seated. With this in mind, I did not like the fact that no one had come to serve us. I asked one of the waiters if we could be served and he was very apologetic. He asked if he could offer us some Prosecco on the house, which wasn’t even on the house as I had prepaid for the wine pairing and it was included in said pairing. Our waiter did not seem to understand what vegetarian had meant, he asked us multiple times what we could and could not eat, and yet when our first portion of three we could eat on the menu arrived, it contained non-vegetarian food. All the cheeses on the menu contained animal rennet. We do not eat cheese that contains animal rennet, and our waiter knew twofold: we were vegetarian, and his cheeses contained bits of animal intestine; something not suitable for vegetarians. He was apologetic but then asked if we were vegan. I want to emphasize that he was aware of what the rennet was and how it was made and still didn’t seem to understand, why vegetarians, could not eat it. Our mains were brought out again, and were fine. We then waited 30 min for dessert. We left the restaurant at midnight (remember when the hostess told us our dinner would end at 10:30?). I was shocked and disappointed by this experience and contacted the Ritz to let them know. I was called by the manager of Lano and offered a free meal. I will not be returning.

   Amazing Valentine’s Day Experience! From the cheerful host, to the delicious dessert, it was by far one of my greatest experiences. Food was exquisite, definitely worth the money, service was impeccable, drinks were great! My wife has multiple food allergies, and our server was so accommodating of that and the chef was able to create a new dish, with that in mind. The ambience was great. I’m not a fan of music at dinner because it can be loud, but everything here was just perfect. Live performers did a great job too! 10/10 experience especially on Valentines Day. My wife was very impressed.

   Went for a Valentine's Day Prix fixe and the food was good but everything was cold! Not warm... Cold. It's unfortunate because the food tasted good but it was made way ahead and super super cold. The meatballs were the only thing that was slightly warm. And the crisp was fine because it was supposed to be cold.

   The atmosphere in the booths was both lively and intimate, and it was so much fun creating our own board. Very accommodating personnel and wine recommendations were spot on!

    It was our first time here and it was just lovely! Our food and drinks were delicious and the staff was so kind and personable. Also the ambience and music added lots to our experience. Definitely going again, thank you so much for such an interesting night!
