   We were not impressed. The prices on the menu were not accurate. We were told we could substitute kind of fish on seafood platter yet was not told that it would increase the price from $37 to $59. Several items we were charged different prices than the menu reflected. The same number of people ate and it was $100 more than it was in the past at Saltgrass and at Saltgrass the food was better. They were closed so instead we went to Landrys. Big mistake ! Won’t do it again !!!!!!

   Our waitress told us several times that she works at saltgrass. She did not know about the menu and just simply wasn’t the best waitress, but we had a great time and the food was awesome! Ribeye was a bit too expensive but it was good.

   Not as good as I expected. Our waitress was very friendly but busy. The food was served lukewarm and bland to be Louisiana cuisine!! Red beans and rice tasteless. There was just so much missing. I wanted dessert but was never asked. There is so much room for improvement!!

   My wife and I eat out a lot and we were very impressed with our waiter Eric. He was training a young lady the proper way to serve someone and i was observing his every move in the restaurant from taking our drink and food order to serving our bottle of wine and food. He did everything that you would expect from a server from a high end restaurant. Everything was perfect. I told the young lady that she has one of the best training her and I hope she really pays attention to what he is showing her. We enjoy eating at all of Tilman Fertitta restaurants and Landry’s is a great one but I told Eric it looks like to me that it was time for him to move up to something like Vic & anthony’s. I also saw and spoke with the manager( didn’t get his name ). He had recently injured his shoulder and arm in an automobile accident and instead of being home nursing his injury he was there working with his arm in sling doing what he could to help everyone there. You don’t see that kind of dedication in an employee anymore. Tilman,you have some great folks working for you. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and it was a pleasure meeting those two men. Thank you

   Our reservation was pushed back 15 minutes because they were not ready. We were seated near a group that was extremely loud and obnoxious. Our waiter was very busy and took a bit to get our drinks to us. He also brought us bread that was literally dripping with butter. Our waiter eventually came back and we ordered our food which came out after 40 minutes or so. The food was cold and our waiter didn’t come back. We eventually got his attention and just paid. It was very disappointing especially for the amount of money we spent.

   My Steak tasted like a campfire, or like the grill itself, smelled like it too. Like I was eating charred wood. my lady’s was fine and rest of food was great love the shrimp kisses. Too nice or nervous of a person to send the steak back! But hated that I spent 150$ on dinner and didn’t like my steak.
