La Pizza & La Pasta features two of the best-loved Italian dishes: Napoli-style pizza and al dente pasta. Enjoy our seasonal selection just steps away from our expert pasta chefs and dough-slinging pizzaioli (pizza makers). To create our traditional but innovative dishes, our chefs cook with both fresh pasta made daily in-house and air-dried, bronze-extruded pasta from Campania, Italy. Eataly has teamed up with the experts at Rossopomodoro, a Napoli-based pizza company, to bring you traditional Neapolitan pizza. Creamy mozzarella, charred yet elastic crust, and sweet San Marzano tomatoes are the basis for the most traditional Pizza.

This is a very underrated restaurant. Everything here is delicious and there are enough options to keep you coming back to try more. Food and service were excellent as always.

While no one thing was bad, at $75 a plate it's not worth it. Wait staff were scarce during the meal, serving of the entrees wasn't coordinated (our waiter said up front that this would happen because "the two chefs didn't get along.". He wasn't joking), bread and olive oil ($5) came after the entrees, and dinner plates weren't cleared when the dessert came. Leftover containers had to be asked for when it was clear we needed them, and then a bag for the food again had to be requested. There are better choices in that area.

Delicious, but loud. It was hard to hear the person I was sitting with.

When we walked into the market area we were amazed at the variety of food products and aromas. The restaurant is on the second floor and located in the back of the area. We were a party of three and shared all of our meals. One person chose the Experience and it was hot pasta swirled inside a large cheese wheel. That didn’t come with a protein so we added a beautiful piece of salmon as a side. The other two people chose different items on the tasting menu; risotto balls, a brochette, a pizza and a pasta dish. Everything was excellent. We also enjoyed a couple of glasses of red wine. The whole experience was great.

Food is good and some in the group said very good. Wait staff poorly trained in customer service and basic interaction with guests. If they are going to wear masks (most had useless masks worn improperly) make sure they know to speak louder. Prices are too high for the quality and customer service received. Bill could only be split in two and we had a party of seven. Seriously?? We had a dinner for 13 the night before at a restaurant and each got a separate bill. It's 2025 now maybe get updated. Cannot recommend dining here. This the third year in a row we have gone and that will now end.

It had been a few years since our last visit to Eataly in Chicago. Although the food was good on a Wednesday night, the ambience and general condition of the restaurants and market areas seemed old and tired. Our server was semi-interested in answering questions and details like salt and pepper or clean silverware were problematic. Truffled pasta was delicious as were the pizza margarita and zucchini appetizers. But not singularly outstanding...and for the prices, we could have gone to literally any 4-star restaurant in the City. Willing to give the benefit of a doubt given it was a mid-week night, but I will have to seriously re-think whether Eataly Chicago will get another chance. PS: After finishing our meal and wandering downstairs to get fresh cannoli and coffee, we were shockingly told that we could only get the desert but NO COFFEE!!! Why, because the station supervisor doesn't like to start her cleaning process after Eataly closes. WTF?? If it wasn't for customers, you don't need to serve us...period. Kudos to the station workers who were all smiles and helpful. Shame on the supervisor who should be re-trained or let go.

We had enjoyed AMAZING pizza at Eataly in NYC and hoped the Chicago location would be just as good. It was! Phenomenal pizza, great hip-casual ambience, friendly server.

The atmosphere was amazing. The menu is very authentic Italian and our food was incredible. Hoover, the service was not what we are use to, but our server did have a lot of very large tables in his section as well. He never did come back and check on us after the food was delivered and we had to track him down three times for more water and our bill.

Took my daughter-7- for Valentine’s Day. It was perfect for her. The food was great and came quickly, really great services. Price was great too. Not super fancy but nicer than chain. We will go back.

It was our first time visiting, though we’d heard about this place before and happened to be in the area. The service was excellent, and the pasta was absolutely amazing! While the pizza wasn’t quite what we were hoping for, I’d be open to giving it another try with a different flavor profile.
