The restaurant is lovely (oak beams). Service was great (chatty, friendly guy) and we did not wait long for the food (we went at lunch time) The food was fabulous, but could have done with more roast potatoes (they were so lovely).

Food was amazing (as usual!) The staff were so friendly (again as usual!) It’s our ‘go to place’ when we go into York. I would absolutely recommend it.
