   Excellent food and service. Lovely waiter Salvatore. Would definitely go back. However, the website was misleading and needs updating as the prices quoted were much cheaper than they actually were.

   Great food. A bit loud with a party going on but service was very good. The only comment I would make is I don’t like ordering my appetizer and dinner all at once. The food came out quickly. We were in and out in 65 minutes. Too fast. I would’ve preferred to have a couple of apps, bottle of wine, taking it slowly and ordering dinner and probably a second bottle of wine. Instead, the apps came out in 10 minutes then within five minutes of finishing the app the entrées came out. Again, great restaurant, but I would suggest not taking the whole order at once.

   La Perla is a gem in Pompano. Friendly with outstanding service. The preparation, presentation and tastes make this 13 table restaurant a number one pick!

   It’s simply the best restaurant in South Florida. But don’t tell anyone because I don’t want the secret to get out. Celebrated my birthday there again this year. Salvatore always makes every experience there extra special. This time I tried the short ribs and gnocchi special as did half our table. Exquisite!

   The food and service at La Perla is outstanding. The only negative is it’s extremely loud and hard to talk. With that being said, we would still recommend it and we will be returning in the future.

   Three of us dined together. One had the mushroom risotto, another the sausage pasta, and I had the special dish of the evening which was flounder in a lemon butter sauce. ALL the dishes were fabulous. Food was fresh, tasty, perfectly prepared, and nicely presented. Portions are large. If you have a smaller appetite I suggest asking to split the dish. The restaurant is small and cozy. A delightful evening.

    Celebrating our 11 year wedding anniversary this was a first visit to La Perla. It was an evening of multiple celebrations going on in the restaurant, several birthday celebrations in addition to our anniversary. The restaurant is clean, the atmosphere and ambiance lends itself to a quaint cafe setting. The service was good for as busy as they were, they were attentive yet you felt rushed which was a little disappointing. The food is five star , everything arrives made to perfection. Portion sizzle is above average Value , even with five star meals the overall cost is high .. Would I recommend? Yes for a special occasion, if your dinning budget expectations is less than $200 for 2 people with cocktails, appetizers, main course entrees and dessert then La Perla is not for you.
