Reservation was for (3) at 5:00 pm for Thanksgiving buffet. We checked in at 4:49. Person checking us in said they were running behind and there would be about a 30-minute wait. However, we noticed they were taking groups in a few at a time. This was fine until we observed people were being seated that had arrived/checked in after us. At 5:45, I stopped one of the hostesses seating people to ask why we were still waiting. She said the guy that was handling the check-in was advising on seating. He had disappeared. She and I waited several minutes but he could not be located. She finally said, come with me and sat us. I stopped to express my dissatisfaction with the whole situation to (2) male mangers who were just standing around. They were disinterested in my frustration and (1) just said sarcastically "Happy Thanksgiving." Once we were seated, I had to go hunt down a server for drinks. I lucked upon a wonderful waitress who took care of our drinks for the rest of the evening. I am glad to have found her as none of the other servers ever stopped at our table. I have rated the experience as poor for various reasons: Lengthy wait time; no explanation & no follow-up; managers lack of attention/customer service; server inattention; missing deserts (no apple/pecan pies) as advertised; deserts/breads available were stale (carrot cake). Just an all around unpleasant experience. My friends and I will not return and I do not recommend.

Went for Thanksgiving Buffet. Reservations for 5pm that we had to prepay for ahead of time, including gratuities. Got there at 4:35pm and were immediately told they’re running behind and it would be a short wait. Tried to get a drink at the bar upstairs but were told they don’t open until 5pm. Got a champagne from the makeshift bar set up downstairs for the crowd of people waiting for their seats. That bar got shut down around 5pm even though we were still waiting for our seats along with a large crowd. Finally seated at 5:45pm at a table that was being used to hold clean glassware. Took awhile for our server to come to our table, clean it off and get our drinks. Our first trip to the buffet was good, but after that it was clear that no one would be refilling the stations, food was starting to get scarce. We had only been seated about 30 minutes or so before it became clear the staff was trying to start breaking things down. My husband wanted dessert but there were no more bowls available and he had to grab the last plate that was out as they were not restocking anything and trying to force you to be done. It was okay for them to allow everyone seated beforehand to enjoy the buffet for as long as they wanted, and we waited an hour just to be seated, yet they were trying to push us along and clear the place out. The food itself was good, but it was a giant cluster from start to finish with staff that weren’t trained, no systems or processes to handle the overbooking, and no reason to care because they already had our money and tips.

Reservation time was not honored and was 20 minutes past our seating time Food selection was not was we would have expected for $70 per person and advertised menu was much different than what was served. Service not great as I had to ask 4 times for an iced tea. Gratuity amount was quite high for people just serving drinks and clearing plates Would never return again for any meal to this restaurant, especially a holiday buffet

Great idea for Thanksgiving if you don’t feel like cooking and eating left over for days. Low of choices and it all was very tasty

We initially made the reservation for our thanksgiving family dinner on November 07, 2024 based on the menu published on line for that day. The Thanksgiving menu included among many other things, snow crab legs, fresh jumbo shrimp, all kind of green salads, a variety of pastas and an abundance of fresh fruit for desert. On Nov. 14, 2024, I called to confirm our reservation. The management of La Hacienda was unable to locate our reservation for 3 days. I personally drove to the restaurant to show them the print out of our reservation, Unfortunately, they were unable to confirm it and promised to call back. They finally called on 11/19 to confirm. We arrived at the restaurant on 11/28/ at 220 pm. We had to wait about 40 minutes before we were escorted to our table. We proceeded to the buffet and we were so disappointed that my husband and son were ready to walk out. After a short complaint with one of the restaurant managers, we decided to stay and continue our meal with whatever was available. 65 percent cited on the menu were nonexistent. The salad consisted of one small bowl of Romain lettuce with one kind of salad dressing. No tomatoes, no cucumbers, no head lettuce, nothing. My husband did not even bother to eat a salad. He went to get his traditional turkey, There was no turkey left. He decided to get some left over dark turkey meat. It was cold and there was NO GRAVY left. My husband opted to switch to the prime rib. that's all he ate for his thanksgiving. When he went to the desert, he was so disappointed with the size of the sliced pumpkin pie. Furthermore, it had no taste whatsoever. The coffee was cold and the ran out of Mimosa, my husband had to go to the bar on the other side to get his mimosa. I am very disappointed and I will be challenging the entire bill with my bank expecting a full refund from La Hacienda. I do not recommend this place to any of our friends. Please note that this is our 7th visit on Sunday. Never encountered this before.

Outstanding food and a wonderful selection. This was top-level! We had to wait for our reservation, but free mimosas and champagne were a great touch. Our wait staff was very good, although a couple of ladies appeared to get tired toward the end of our meals and didn’t come back to the table. Perhaps it was a change in staff, because Veronica took over from that point, and she was terrific! I did think requesting pre-payment and including a 23% tip on a buffet was a little much. It was explained that this was to keep the flow and make it easier to come and go, but I didn’t expect that from this level of property. Mandating tips at that level was disappointing. But overall a lovely experience.
