La Griglia continues its tradition of a true Houston staple at our new address, 2817 W Dallas Street. La Griglia’s menu is a blend of signature dishes with new creations featuring simple, uncomplicated ingredients elegantly presented. A significant portion of our exceptional ingredients are sourced from Italy and act as inspiration for the new offerings. With a striking, modern look and feel, La Griglia features sleek finishes such as marble and brass juxtaposed by the warmth of supple leathers and crisp white tablecloths. The restaurant includes an intimate main dining room, a wine room, and an expansive courtyard and bar for dining and cocktails, allowing for guests to experience a range of environments based on the occasion.

As a courtesy to all our guests, we maintain a business casual dress code. No beachwear, gym attire, hats, baseball caps, shorts, flip flops, or athletic apparel is allowed. Admittance is at the discretion of management.

    We arrived 20 minutes before our reservations. We were not offered to be seated even though the dining room was half empty. The hostess said we could wait at the bar or sit out on the patio. Now mind you the temperature was in the 40's outside so why would you offer that? There wasn't anyone else out on the patio or anyone else waiting to be seated for the dining room. We waited in the lobby area. We were finally seated a few minutes before 5. Some would say was the big deal and maybe they didn't have the Waite staff, but we had 3 different servers. But sometimes it's the principle of it. The wait for food was a little long considering the number of people that was there. The food was good and hot when it came. Would I return I haven't decided.

    we were very annoyed with the wait staff they were hovering over us and we could not even take a breath without them coming to our table even after we told them give us some time and one waiter put the menu right in front of my husbands face! they also sat us at a horrible table next to the kitchen and kept bumping my friends chair. so many empty tables and they sat us at the worse table. I will not be going back or recommending this place to any one.

    The service team was unhappy and disinterested in their work. The food was just ok. Not a great experience tbh. The cocktails were good, not great. I won’t rush back.

    The food was outstanding! Had a few miscues on service, nothing wrong, but had to ask to have the wile list, what the specials were, and then to see the dessert menu when he brought the bill without asking. Not sure what was going on, as the same waiter did all of those tasks for the table next to us without any prompting. I love coming here as I was a fan of Nino's and this has a similar feel as Nino's but updated and more elegant.
