   We waited over 20 minutes to see a server but were given water. Poor busing of the table and the overall service was mediocre. It wasn’t until we ordered an expensive bottle of wine that we seemed to be “noticed”

   No one reads reservation notes. Why bother with requests? Booked a table, and asked in the notes for a quiet table and fewer interruptions. I mentioned again the need for privacy when I arrived. The hostess added seats to the table to ensure no one sat close to us. Then the service team proceeded to have no less than three people attend to us in 5-10 minute increments. I really thought that by leaving it in the notes that we really didn't want to be interrupted AND conveying that message to the hostess that we would be seeing servers less but instead got more folks coming around.

   Beautiful restaurant, nice atmosphere, and food was good but not spectacular. This might entirely be my fault and my taste, however. Ordered the filet mignon and did not anticipate the peppercorn crust to be so overwhelming. However, the meat was cooked perfectly - rare just like ordered! Also, don’t expect this experience to be a quick in-and-out. Unless you tell the waiter otherwise, plan on the experience taking at least 2.5 hours especially if you order appetizers.

   The food and service continue to amaze me. This is my 3rd time back and it keeps getting better. The cocktails, Long Meadow Ranch Cab are a must! Went back to old faithful in the perfect prepared scallops!

   Ate lunch here recently, had a great experience. Had the steak frites, one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. Service was great, staff knowledgeable about the menu, made a great drink recommendation. The setting is beautiful in River North. Highly recommend and this summer will be excellent here with the windows open!

   Very good French fare: Caesar salad, fresh oysters on the half-shell, pasta, steak frites (with a side salad). Creative cocktails -Sazerac, wines by the glass (Russian River Pinot Noir). Professional & friendly service in a belle epoque atmosphere.

   We came to La Boucherie to celebrate my 15 years old son's birthday. He chooses the restaurant. Everything went very well. The service was superb. The food was great. First time for my son to taste the escargot. He loved it. Thanks to the staff for the great experience.

    LGB has become one of my favorite places in the city! The food is always so good and the restaurant/ bar is stunning! The Chef is always so welcoming and I love that.
