Very attentive service, although we were on a weeknight. Appetizers, especially the macaroni with Gueyere cheese was to die for. The chicken in a crock was oversalted and had only dark meat. Avoid. Scallops were great. Pork was okay. But overall, we recommend this restaurant for a special occasion.

Ali and Homera are the owners and they run a great restaurant. The food was delicious. The service is excellent and the ambiance is quite romantic.

Service was friendly but a bit slow. It took us more than 10 minutes to be asked about drinks. Perhaps they’re understaffed? Food was very good although we were surprised the entrees had no vegetables/sides. Ambiance was lovely — quiet and relaxing.

The new menu and environment were wonderful and the service was excellent as usual. It was good to see the table-side Caesar salad back on the menu.

Celebrated a birthday at our first (but not last) visit to La Bonne Vie in Herndon, VA. Very personalized service made us feel very comfortable. The room was warm and nicely decorated with ehite table linens. We started with French 75 cocktails and shared an escargot in mushroom caps. Lots of garlic and butter! We each had steak frites; the pommes frites were very crispy and flavorful, and the steaks were perfectly cooked and very tender. We look forward to a return visit on our next special occasion. Highly recommended!
